Description

tcRemoteAccess32 is a Bulletin Board System for Windows 95/98 and Windows NT. It is a 100% clone of the popular BBS Package "RemoteAccess", which currently only available for DOS. Upgrading from RemoteAccess to tcRemoteAccess32 is real easy, just unzip the archive and run it, it uses the same configuration files as RemoteAccess, so no need to convert files or spend hours on configuring a new system, you can even run tcRemoteAccess32 as an extra node with RemoteAccess!


System Requirements:
  • Windows 95/98/NT on a 486DX system with at least 8Mb (Pentium with 16Mb recommended).
  • A working RA 2.50 bulletin board system (only for this beta).
    • Note: RA 2.50 is only needed to created the configuration and setup files! RA.EXE is not used!).
  • 5 MB of free diskspace.

    • There is no real setup utility, just install it, read the TXT files to see the changes you needto make, and run it. That's it.

  • Added some extra menu info in the main screen.
  • Didn't go to default path when launching door. Fixed.
  • Fixed a problem with the Y2K-fix.
  • Added Font Settings window.
  • If no screen for selected emulation exists, tcRA32 will now display the screen of a simpler emulation (AVT->ANS->ASC) instead of nothing.
  • Font Settings and window positions are saved (per node) in registry.
  • Changed "Idle Mode" : When tcRA32 loaded a door or front-end mailer, other applications (eg Adobe Photoshop) failed to start or work properly.
