Solution: LANtastic only supports the original SMB v1.0 protocol, and later versions of Windows default to disabling SMB v1.0. To enable SMBv1. 0 Support on a Windows 7, 8, 10 PC: Open the Start Menu. Type CONTROL into the search field. Select the Control Panel . Select Get Programs under Programs or Select Programs and Features. Select Turn Windows features on or off from the side menu. Check the box next to SMB 1.0/CIFS File Sharing Support. Select OK. Select Restart now to reboot the PC. SMBv1.0 will be enabled once the computer has rebooted.
