32/64-bit NetModem Client Modem driver for the Patton/Digi 2977 RAS Card

This modem driver mdm2977.inf supports both 32-bit and 64-bit versions of Windows NT,
including Windows 7, 2008, 2003, 2000, Vista and XP, including the R2 versions.
This has also been tested on the pre-release version of Windows 8.

This driver is for use with Windows PC's running NetModem Client, which connect to a
remote Patton/Digi 2977 RAS card located on a NetModem Server.


Installing the modem driver:
----------------------------

Place the mdm2977.inf driver in a temporary folder on a NetModem Client PC, and from
the Windows Control Panel select Phone and Modem Options > Modems > Add > then select
"Don't detect my modem, I will select it from a list", Next > Have Disk > then provide
the path to the temporary folder > Next > select the Patton RAS 56K Modem, click Next,
and from the list of COM ports, select the Virtual COM port that you defined in the
Netmodem Client and click Next. You can ignore the unsigned driver warning.
