LANTASTIC 8.0 INSTALL MESSAGE TO REMOVE EXISTING VERSION BUT UNINSTALL WILL NOT PROCEED.

Solution:
LANtastic installation looks for two registry keys to see if an existing version is already installed. Removing these keys will allow a re-install to proceed.
Solution:
1. BACKUP THE REGISTRY! The changes that follow are in the Windows 9.x Registry and such changes could leave the computer in an unbootable state if not done properly. If such a problem occurs it is important that a backup of the Registry exist, or else it may be necessary to reinstall Windows 9.x and all other programs again.
2. Once the registry has been backed up, go to the Start button and choose Run, and put REGEDIT in the Open box and click the OK button.
3. The Registry Editor will start, and you need to click the + symbol next to the following items: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\System\CurrentControlSet\Services
In here, you will see a folder (key) named LTNP32. Remove this folder.
You will also see a Lantastic folder (key). Remove this folder as well
At this point, close the registry editor and reboot the computer. You should now be able to install LANtastic 8.0.
