CAN I DISABLE FILE AND PRINTER SHARING FOR LANTASTIC (LANTASTIC SERVER) ON A WINDOWS 2000 MACHINE?

Solution:
Yes. You can disable LANtastic Server, and still leave Client for LANtastic Networks running.
1. Right-click "My Network Places" and select properties.
2. Right-click "Local Area Connection" and select properties.
3. uncheck "File and Printer Sharing for LANtastic Networks"
4. Restart Windows 2000.
NOTE: DO NOT uninstall the "File and Printer Sharing" component. This will completely disable LANtastic and you may not be able to uninstall properly after rebooting.
