Hi! wanna say welcome to all new doods on this list, as you
all know this list is made to update users who dosen't call
the planet anymore with information so they might be intressting
calling back some time. If you want to un-subscribe from this
list you will need a pretty good reason for that.

News from sysop:
would be cool if all the staff members could be more active,
ask, do stuff, get involved, paint some gfx, upload some
linux stuff :), think of stuff, recommend stuff, give tips!

        - The biggest news is that "the valley of
          death" (vod) have changed name to:
          "planet vod" since the old one was lame
          and all ascii's already has "vod"...
        > old news but im saying it again

        - as soon as the cablemodem ISP is unlocking
          ports and let us get more freedom i will
          start experiment with telnet and stuff

        - kewl newsgroups added, updated daily!

        - You know as soon you are validated you got
          free download from all our areas right?

        - Want's to chat with staff members and users?
          connect to #vod on any efnet server!            

        - i know this should not be written here but we
          are now running (beside artboard) and 0-days
          warez section supported by gods of illusion.
          with *new stuff every day*. Btw, staff is not
          responsible for any apps found at the planet.
          we're only are getting 0-days that are below
          5 disk's. mostly "appz"

        - just added alot of new bbs-modding (again)
          dont ask where i get them all from :)

        - the door game hypertyper has just been zerowed
          so this is your chance to beat the other users
          in the fast speed-typing game, very addicted :)

        - You know planet vod has a 24h dial-up only
          for you and your friends...

        - As the summer vaication is closing in i dont
          have so mush plans but get drunk the whole
          summer so i will probably spend alot of time
          modding my board (can it get even better??)

        - alot of new ansi's has been added or changed
          and also a random logo so it not will be too
          boring to see the same logo every logon.
          I also changed the login-screen, this new one
          *rocks*. this will be released too, it's an
          q-a script for elebbs, you can find it on pc-
          micro's archive when it's released.
          Also updated the "notiz 2 next" ascii :) 

        - i just installed BBS Simulator and it has been
          major popular from users to start there own
          virtual BBS, they love it!, try it!
          
        - the news on the bbs will keep track on every demo
          party ahead, and try to get all the demo-party
          releases on the board as soon as possible.

        - Im getting bored at the "login-procedure" you know
          the one you select with lightbars what you want to
          run, newfiles/mail, wall/onliener, weektop etc.
          i will change this some cute summer day, ideas &
          layout really really wanted :)

        - we now got 7530 files online in 751 MB on hdd
          2 cd's online and *alot* offline. 
          !!! please note -- this is quality files !!!
          there is now 2 GB reserved for the bbs
